MMTA Comprehensive Piano Exams
The Syllabus is the resource for a comprehensive piano instruction plan. The 11 levels cover keyboard skills, sight playing, repertoire from the various musical periods, and oral questions. All who pass a level receive a certificate and points toward the Challenge Award. There are no age restrictions for the levels. The keyboard skills and sight playing portions may be taken separately. Monetary awards are given on the upper levels. Testing dates are below, and information is available in the MMTA Handbook or on the MMTA website.
