MMTA COMPREHENSIVE PIANO EXAMS

 MMTA Comprehensive Piano Exams

The NEW Syllabus is now the resource for a comprehensive piano instruction plan. The 11 levels cover keyboard skills, sight playing, repertoire from the various musical periods, and oral questions. All who pass a level receive a certificate and points toward the Challenge Award. There are no age restrictions for the levels. The keyboard skills and sight playing portions may be taken separately. Monetary awards are given on the upper levels. Testing dates are below, and information is available in the MMTA Handbook or on the MMTA website.

Students who delayed their testing from last April/May will be able to have selections out of the OLD Syllabus.  The remaining Exams will be using the NEW Syllabus.
